Introduction: On October 13, 2001—just thirty-three short days after the World Trade Center tragedy—America lost eight more pre cious innocent souls. It was not until Sunday, November 25, 2001, that scientists at Advanced Cell Technology, Inc. an nounced they had created human embryos through a pro cess known as somatic nuclear transfer (cloning). [This is the same group of scientists who reported in the May 22, 1998 is sue of Science that they had created a “transgenic” cow/hu-man hybrid embryo.] In discussing their latest endeavor to clone humans, Dr. Michael West, president and CEO of the company, remarked: “I don’t think this is safe yet for human reproduction” (see CNN, 2001), and he then stressed that he does not support cloning to create human beings as a means of reproduction. However, his overall goals are not as altruis tic as they might first appear. While Dr. West and his colleagues do not support human cloning as a means of human repro duction, they have absolutely no problem creating human embryos through cloning in order to extract the precious stem cells of which those embryos are composed. West argued: “There are people out there, people we all care for, who are suffering and dying and need therapies now” (CNN, 2001). How is it that we now find ourselves trying to redefine human life? -

It is not uncommon to hear some one mention studies within the field of 'Christian evidences.' Such terminology is simply a reference to an examination of the evidence establishing Christianity as the one true religion of the one true God." (Introduction) -
The Case for the Existence of God
$0.00
Author: Bert Thompson, Ph.D.
Publisher: Apologetics Press; 2003
Format: Digital; 70pp
ISBN: 0-932859-59-3
Introduction; One of the most basic, and most fundamental, issues that can be considered by the human mind is the question, “Does God exist?” In the field of logic, there are principles—or as they are called more often, laws—that govern human thought processes and that are accepted as analytically true. One of these is the Law of the Excluded Middle. When applied to ob jects, this law states that an object cannot both possess and not possess a certain trait or characteristic at the same time and in the same fashion. When applied to propositions, this law states that all precisely stated propositions are either true or false; they cannot be both true and false at the same time and in the same fashion.

Format: Digital; 70pp
ISBN: 0-932859-74-7
Introduction: One of the most mind-numbing mysteries for those who believe in God is trying to understand the unbelief of those who do not. As one who writes and lectures often on the top ics of apologetics and evidences, I frequently am asked, “What causes people not to believe in God?” Generally speaking, the motive behind the question is not derogatory, but com plimentary. That is to say, the querist really is asking: “Why is it that obviously intelligent people do not believe in God?” -

Creation Compromises (2nd Edition)
$0.00
Author: Bert Thompson, Ph.D.
Publisher: Apologetics Press; 2000
Format: Digital
Pages: 428
Description: This is a book about a battle - a battle taking place among us over the most important and controversial topics in history: origins. Give a man a false, warped view of his origin, and he likewise will possess a false, warped view of his destiny. Origin and Destiny are inseparably linked. It is the thesis of this volume that comprises of the Genesis account of creation not only are unnecessary, but wrong. While they may not always spring from ill motives, in the end they produce the same unpleasant results - both here and in the hereafter. Compromise - more often than not - is the prelude to the loss of an individual's soul. The person who is willing to compromise the first chapter of God's word will not hesitate to compromise - just as readily - other portions of Scripture in a similar fashion. In the end, it will not be only Genesis that is viewed as untrustworthy, but every other book of the Bible as well. Eventually , of course, even the testimony of Christ and His writers becomes suspect. It is the purpose of this book to present, explain, and refute the various compromises of Genesis that have become so popular in certain circles. Those who dilute and denigrate God's inspired Word need to know that their compromising attitudes will not go unchallenged or unanswered. -

What the Bible Says About the Church of Christ
$0.00
Author: Dave Miller, Ph.D.
Publisher: Apologetics Press; 2007
Format: Digital, 89pp
ISBN: 978-1-60063-001-9
Introduction: If you were to open your Bible and begin reading, you would quickly come to understand how the Universe got here, including the Earth, and how we human beings came into existence. You would read about the first two human beings, Adam and Eve, and how they disobeyed God’s directive to them, thereby introducing sin into the world. This circumstance becomes the central concern of the rest of the Bible: human sin and God’s intention to atone for that sin so that humans can be reconciled to Him through the forgiveness of their sins.

What the Bible Says About the Lutheran Church
$0.00
Author: Kyle Butt
Publisher: Apologetics Press; 2005
Format: Digital, 54pp
ISBN: 978-0-932859-83-9
Introduction: Few and far between are those brave individuals who have the fortitude to swim against the swelling current of mediocrity and the status quo. Most are content to sit by, occasionally complaining about this situation or that, never making bold, decisive moves in an attempt to make their world a better place by standing for what they think is right regardless of the cost. Martin Luther was not “most people.” He was a daring, courageous man who wanted the general mass of people to experience what he considered to be the true grace of God, free from the oppressive practices that were then taking place in the Catholic Church. In 1517, the nail he drove through his 95 theses simultaneously drove a separating wedge between his followers and the Catholic Church. -
Receiving the Gift of Salvation
$0.00
Author: Kyle Butt; Eric Lyons
Publisher: Apologetics Press
Format: Digital, 28pp
Introduction: Most people would admit that the Bible says eternal salvation is a free gift from God. The New Testament is filled with statements stressing this point. The most oft’-quoted verse in all of Scripture teaches this very fact: “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...” (John 3:16). God did not offer the gift of eternal life to the world because of some great accomplishment on the part of mankind.... -
